A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well, if I was coming into the province and going back to the US...that'd be a different kind of "stuff", and I'd probably have to do it by kayak. :-\\\

This one is just assorted GS parts:

Eastern Beaver PC-8 is the golden item this week, and a bunch of little things from Boulevard Suzuki: brake seals, tach seal...
Blvd. Suzuki is right down the road from me. I even have Ashley in one of my tags. The brick and mortor store is Deland Powersports. She's a sweety. Well since no one has the beer truck tag, I guess I'll go for it. Be back in an hour, hopefully dry. Sunny here, but some nasty looking STUFF where I have to ride.

If you don't, I'm going hunting for it after I get off of work. Or if you do, I'll be hunting for whatever you tag up next...

Beer tag met by ex alky.

My ex liquid of choice. I was a simple man, plus you can find it everywhere.

Next tag....

Your local Zoo. Not the bigest zoo in the States, but one of the most unique. I've owned 1 cubic inch since 1976. It has a zip line tour.

Sunshine in Florida. Sure hope Earl's getting some of that.:)
He should be, but in Florida you never know. It was nasty looking over the zoo area before I left. Earls about 1 1/2 hours west southwest of me over near the coast. I'm north of Orlando in the center=hotter part of the state.:)

Um, or not... I'm not riding up to Brookfield... So, I guess I'll just have to wander around aimlessly now...

Great tag Rick!

Well, if it gets into Sunday, I'll take a petting zoo or aquarium, Somewhere people go to see multiple different types of animals. I'll even accept a pet store, but Not Till Sunday.

I was going to put up a pic of the "petting zoo" we rode through the other day, not going for the tag but just an interesting pic. Photobucket has changed, there's now no way to upload a pic from the stuff on my computer?

Anyone else having a problem or is it just me?

Seriously? When did this happen?

No problem with PBucket for me, but my picts were uploaded from my cell to my mobil file.

Yep, Rockies. 12,000 or so feet, West of Denver a little way.

I climbed Longs Peak 14,355 ft. in '81. We used to stay at the Y in Estes Park in the early 80s. I remember takeing the tour at the Stanley Hotel, right after they released the movie of the Shinning. My parents hadn't seen the movie, and didn't believe me. We almost moved to Longmont, But that fell through. I can't remember why, I think my parents realized there is winter there.;) The reason we moved from Maryland to Florida in the first place. Being a letter carrier my dads back couldn't take the cold of winter anymore.

I thought Timberline lodge was used for The Shining ? But It's so long ago, I can't really remember. Oldtimers disease.

It would appear we're both right. Inspiration from the Stanley. Mini series from the Stanley. Movie at Timberline Lodge.
From Wikipedia

The Stanley Hotel is a 140-room neo-Georgian hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Located within sight of the Rocky Mountain National Park, the Stanley offers panoramic views of the Rockies. It was built by Freelan Oscar Stanley of Stanley Steamer fame and opened on July 4, 1909, catering to the rich and famous, including the RMS Titanic survivor Margaret Brown, John Philip Sousa, Theodore Roosevelt, the Emperor and Empress of Japan, and a variety of Hollywood personalities.[2] The hotel and its surrounding lands are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[3]
The Stanley Hotel also hosted the horror novelist Stephen King, inspiring him to write The Shining. Contrary to information sometimes published, King was living in Boulder at the time and did not actually write the novel at the hotel. Parts of the mini-series version of The Shining were filmed there, although Stanley Kubrick's cinematic version was filmed at the Timberline Lodge in Oregon and at Elstree Studios in England. The Stanley Hotel shows the uncut R-rated version of Kubrick's The Shining on a continuous loop on Channel 42 on guest room televisions.
