    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

 What is the new tag and when did everything change?

Weird, it's like the Twilight Zone.

It's like being on vacation, coming home and somebody remodeled the house.

If the tag is still up for grabs. I've got a few.

First from Honky Tonk Freeway a little known movie staring a handful of star actors, well B list maybe.
It was filmed in Mt. Dora Florida in 1980 and wasn't a box office smash, but it did feature a water sking elephant.
Here is a few photos of some of the places they painted pink.
Yeah the painted the town pink for the movie and the houses and buildings they repainted white, bled pink through for decades.

Next is from the movie Ernest Saves Christmas.
Filmed in 1988 in and around Orlando Staring Jim "Hey Vern" Varney. RIP
This is the entrance to the old Orlando Science Center used in the film.

New tags. I have three to keep everybody involved.
There should be at least one of these near everybody.
We'll maybe.

First. A bunker house.

Second option.
A wooden train bridge.

Third option.
An old train to cross the bridge.

These were all located in Mt. Dora.

Glen, there is a an old train car on Throckmorton... I'm probably not going to be out on the bike today, or I would try to get that pic.

Nice....I forgot about that despite it being around the corner from me. Its at the goodwill store parking lot.
Thanks for the tip.

Historical building or grounds.
This is Old Tennent Church. Built in 1751. It was used as a field hospital in the Battle of Monmouth. Services still held every Sunday.

Nice find Dorkburger. I found one too but I had issues posting the picture.

Can someone explain how to post full size picture and not a thumbnail pic. I want to get it right the next time.
Thx

Some cool tags over the past number of weeks...
Guys I haven't ridden in over a month. I tend to go through this mid summer riding slump where I lose interest and get into other hobbies/ activities. I am a more active rider in the spring/fall for some reason. Im sure I will be on one of the bikes soon.
