A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Ok, hopefully this is ok since the game has stalled somewhat, I rode over 70 miles to get the nearest uniform store, and when I got there, it was just an empty store front, another lost biz due to the economy, so I did a quick google, an lo and behold, the Army Navy Store is considered a uniform store, so, for your approval, and new tag is ready.

Here we go, a Historical site still being used today in a similar fashion as it had originated, Medina Ohio was founded in 1816 and this place was an original stage coach stop, it was a Saloon/Steakhouse and Brothel. You can still get a steak and a beer, the later depends on your skills of communication and charm. This building is almost as it was, with only permissible restoration and is a landmark here.

An example of this tag could be considered something like whats in Tom's neck of the woods, Up in Cripple Creek Colorado, was mostly a mining town, many of the old Saloons and Restaurants are now Gambling Casinos. See the similarities?!

We have a vintage 19th centry hotel that is nearly done with its restoration. It used to service the old train depot full of yankees that wanted to come to Florida to sweat. Sadly they old depot is long gone, good news is, there will be a new depot for the comuter rail their building. Not sure what it's going to house, but there is a lawyers office in there already. If it ever stops raining I'll get this tag. Not suppose to clear up till monday though.

I nice ride from my house, alongside the Fox river is a place that used to be a speakeasy owned by Al Capone...it is now a restaurant with a 30's, gangster style decor...
It would be perfect for this tag, but I used it last summer in this game.

NOTICE: This is not the tag...this is an old tag from last summer.:)

We've got a couple of those as well. Hadn't thought of using one of those. I figured there would be plenty of in use historical sites, maybe just not that many people playing right now. I wanted something other than your typical store fronts, I'm saving my secret weapon for later, when I can get out and really ride.

I can get a few (dozen) examples tomorrow if no one else finds something by then.
I have to go and pick up another GS anyway...

It was a radio station back in the day. I have no clue what it is used for today. I do know the local college has a fire and rescue course, that uses it for repelling training every now and then. There's usually an eagles nest on it. I'll see if I can find some history, while the computer isn't acting up. I can ad that by phone. Shouldn't be too hard of a tag, just make it BIG, no wimpy towers, please.

Hardly seems fair, I have a monster tower like that at the end of my street, the engine wouldn't even get warm, have to think where to go to get another tag, fair warning, you guys who still have daylight to burn.....

I can say the exact same thing, as this was at the end of my street. It was starting to rain after I got the hotel photos, I had to ditch my choice tag for this one. If it makes you feel better, there was lightening around and I parked as close as I could. The risk factor should out weigh the distance, even though I took this after the hotel and going to the grocery store.;)
