A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well, I haven't had this on my bike for a few years. It was black like the bike back then. So, paint to match and installed for the cool mornings up North.

Looks good. REAL good! Great choice, IMO. Minimalist yet functional and attractive. Now I know what I've got to start searching for my 1100G.

I've got one!

I've got one!

It's a Rifle Superbike. It was on my 1978 GS 750, and now it's on my 1979 GS 1000. It's nice and light, yet gives plenty of coverage on the highway. Makes these GSes great sport tourers.

This is nuts timing on this post LOL I just picked up a 15" clear rifle superbike windshield Item # 0.012.0001, headlight cover and dash panel was going to try to put it on my GS1000C but now I see I am missing a BIG part of things so what I have may go up for sale

Thanks for the link. I guess I really shouldn't be as surprised as I am with the price. Everything else has, at least, doubled since the late 70's. Guess its only to be expected that fairings would as well. Still, sure looks nice. :)

Looks good. I'm thinking about a Rifle for my GS650G. It's a bit pricey but will look much better than the Slipstreamer SR90 I just junked.

I bought mine on e-bay used for about $60.00 I think. Rifle still stocks all the parts for them. I replaced the screen a few years back. I also made lower struts from 3/8 stainless steel tubing to stiffen it up a bit. They run from the bottom lip of the fairing and attach to the forks where the reflectors mount. It also breaks down nicely for painting, the dash and light insert come off leaving just the outside shell to color match if you like.
