Rotor Question

In my rebuilding process, I've rebuilt both calipers, only replacing the rear pads, the fronts look pretty new. My question is, do you guys do anything to the rotors?? The bike has 13K-ish miles on it, the rotors look good, but it there something you do to maybe remove any glaze on the rotors? I've only found suggestions to scuff up the pads with fine sandpaper, which I will do. Any suggestions on the rotors? Thanks!

It wouldn't hurt to scuff up the rotors when installing new pads but otherwise you don't need to do anything other than wash them in soap and water to remove any residual oil. Oh, and make sure to replace the brake lines. The old rubber lines deteriorate and collect a scale on the inside which quickly contaminates any new fluid you put into the system.

Thanks. Brake lines are a given. I have a new SS one for the rear that I ended up not using on my Busa. Waiting on what bars I decide to use to order one for the front. Thinking if I get some fine grit sandpaper and a block to keep it even and just scuff em a bit should be good.

if you have one an orbital sander that works as well. About 120 grit is fine
