Rotor Removal Tool

This could be a good article on the Garage section.
Has anyone come out with another smart and cheap way to pull the stator rotor out?, you see I really don?t have access to the so called "special tools", and I need to check the starter clutch, I've red about not using a three leg extractor that?s cool, and I don?t have the swing arm pivot bolt (I made my bike rigid) to use it as a slide pulley.

I finally did it I removed the rotor to fix the starter clutch, I used a 14M hardened bolt (8.8hard), and yes it took lots of strength, but it came out,, one thing though the starting thread on the crank got messed,#-o, I'm still figuring out how to fix it (only the starting thread), ideas are very welcome.

Going back to the starter clutch, the Allen bolts where so lose I took them out with my fingers, :-s , threads between head and tip are stripped,
Qs:
Is this why clutch was slipping? :-k (Loose Allen bolts)
Should I replace them? of just install back with locktight?
How strong the three little springs have to be? Should I replace those?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

DEFINITELY replace the old bolts with new ones! Order them from your dealer as they are still available. And, YES, loctite them & torque them in place. Also, if the damaged threads you are talking about are OUTSIDE threads you can buy a metric THREAD FILE to touch them up. If they are INSIDE threads, you can use a tap but be VERY carefull! The rest of your existing parts should be fine to reuse. Ray.
