DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I may be heading to Shelbyville, Indiana and also over to Camp Atterbury for a week. Thinking of riding the FJ-09 out there, if weather permits. Are there any can't miss roads out that way? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thinking between there and the Ohio River would be some nice riding.

Indiana 66 along the Ohio is a great run from Cannelton to Leavenworth or vice versa . 450 and 150 are staples of our annual Indiana rally based in Bedford.

What's that road out of Salem? It has all them hills that you can get airborne. Cotton mill road or something like that. That's a fun one...

Part of Beck's Mill is pretty much a paved moto cross track. :)

I thought 37 out of Paoli was nice and 229 from US52 to Batesville will get you started. In Batesville you can have a ho hum ride to Nashville then start down 135 through Story Inn and into Bedford

Yes, Yes, There are some nice roads there.

To help you find Becks Mill Road: Its northern end is just south of Salem, and it goes to Federicsburg. ANd then from there you can take 337 to get to the 62 mentioned above.

If you are wondering why these folks from Michigan and Kentucky and Tennessee and Illinois know about these roads; the answer is: THe GSR Brown County Rally. Has been in June in Bedford in recent years. (May, Columbus before that.)

What I would like to provide to you is Brian bwringers great maps (that use at the rally) but I havent been finding them lately (have politely pestered him about that). Maybe someone can point us to these great maps.

If you want to stay a night in the middle of the nice roads, look up the Rosemount in Bedford. Is an old but clean motel in town, off the highway. Tell Jay the GS Suzuki guys sent you.

THese maps will have that Gatesville road, which can find not far from the Camp Atterberry you mentioned.

Hum,,, these maps are not the ones I had in mind. These are more around Nashville and and Bloomington and Bedford. Al roads highlighted are good-great. They dont get you down to the river, and dont have Becksmill highlighted.

You said "south central", all of these will be just west of central or further west of central.

We're not talking Bump Ass Pass are we?

No not at all. It's a smooth road, but with mounds. If you hit it at the right (or wrong) speed, you can actually catch some air! It is a really fun road to check out.👍
