A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

score-GS1000S mirrors

Oh i think ive taken my share of hits too and had many a part backdoor dealt from me...its just your turn today thats all...guess the crackhead needed that rock sooner than your payment would get there. And he was probably too lazy to ship it.

And not saying Larry back doored you...saying the crackhead did. Thought i would clarify that before your dillusional mind spin doctors it into an international crime.

I posted that fairing here, guess no one was paying attention
http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?t=190903

Guess I'll be paying more attention after this. Even though the seller probably wasn't the most scrupulous guy, (ie: Eric) I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy with the purchase. Posting this thread, I just wanted to show that occaisionally the planets all line up and a person can still find an unexpected good deal on something. ;)

It is..but this fairing must have come off another bike that had the Cooley mirrors on it. Its not painted as a Cooley so thats about al I can think of. Hey Larry..any telling overspray indicating it was once on a Cooley???

Rats!
I had offered him $100 for it.
He said that he would pack them up.
Guess he changed his mind. :(
Perhaps he needed a "fix" straight away?

WTG Larry!

Eric

Or, perhaps he just didn't wanna sell em to you?

Hey I'll be in Spokane tomorrow.. I'll give ya $60 for the fairing!..

LOL.. KIDDING!! I wouldn't do that to Chuck.. I spent all my bike $$ anyway..

One of the first questions I asked was does this fairing have the rolled beads on the trailing edges, and is it made of ABS plastic. The answer was no. It's fiberglass w/o the rolled edges , which automatically eliminates it as an original fairing. Whether it was originally on an S model, hard to say. The S model could've had the fairing broken at some point, and the original mirrors from that swapped onto this aftermarket fairing.

Ha ha! I'm pretty sure Chuck didn't really want it. I've actually already promised it to a member of this site for just the shipping cost to get it to him. ;)
