A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Is there any way to shorten the stalks on the turn signals? They stick soooo far out there. If I could just eliminate the middle section, they would look so much cleaner, but I'd have to get a shorter hollow bolt as well...

Someone is bound to slam me for this, but I just put the rear lights up front as they were 1/2inch smaller and about an inch shorter in stalk.. I shortened the stalk by another inch without cutting or drilling anything more than some 1/2 upvc plastic tubing, so I can go back to stock as and when I please..

I cut 1/2" of the tube and slipped it over the stalk and pushed it through the front mounting hole, then slid on 3/4" more behind it all, then the washer/earth wire, split washer and nut, giving me about 1/2 of visible stalk, the other inch hidden behind the headlight bucket.. The only downside is I used grey tubing which I will no doubt paint black asap, oh, and they dont "lock" in position, but after a jaunt today they seem secure and havent moved.. Looks much much better... CJ

At the back there is not the same amount of space to play with, and I dont know if the same would apply.. perhaps you could loose 1/2" or so without cutting stuff up...

I hope this it is not a sin or somthing but i bought a set of short stock mini blinkers for my750l i love them compared to the ugly LARGE stockers

I don't think I'm using Dennis Kirk right. I can't find these. I can't find Dyna S coils or ignition.

I think I've finally gone stupid.

Get a catalog. The catalog is easier to read than the site.

I have some Lockhart Phillips aluminum mini stalks with the amber lens. About $20/pr. You can find them almost anywhere. They come with different colored lenses and also in black stalk. I polished mine brighter than how they come, which is already shiny. If you want to see them mounted, check out my close up photo at my website.
Just click the WWW symbol below.

Ok I took a photo of the resized stalk and I am holding up the original so you can see the difference..

Buying nice new little ones would be nice, but mine cost me nothing (the tube was conveniently left in my garbage for me...
