A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Working My 80' gs1000g tonight putting turn signals back on (none from po). Turned the right turn signal and it flashed the headlight. .. then pop the 10 amp signal fuse.. replaced that not in have no dummy lights (except high beam and signal lights just don't blink like it should) brake lights or turn signals have power coming out of the orange and have power coming out of the fuse... automation signal went bad?

Sorry, I am going to have to wait until that is translated into English.

C'mon guys. He wired his turn signal 12V to his headlight. A common occurrence. I think the last time I did that was...Never.

Nope didn't wire the turn signals to the headlight. When I bought the bike it never had any power to my brakes light or the dummy lights till i wired it to the orange wire coming off the 4 pin behind the headlight. Just a temporary fix. After a bit I never really bother to fix since everything worked ok. Keep in mind I didn't have turn signals at the time...so after a while i Put the turn signals in. Checked power to assure left and right turn signal. Work great. Then all of a sudden when I hit the right turn signal the headlight flashed...clicked it back and tried again blinked for a second then blew the fuse. Replaced the fuse and now I have nothing. No turn signals or brake lights. There fixed my bad Grammer (blame community college I.e. kirkwood). So lead me to where I need to be....thanks for the hazing..and I'm like asparagus with bacon maybe a brown ale with it.

So figured it out.....never would of guessed...the dummy lights are to blame. Had ground continuity thru the plug. Once unplugged I had turn signals. So I guess I'll be in the market for those..lol
