I have Duplicolor (might be VHT) black gloss engine paint on a set of wheels... I have a can of 2K going out of date on the shelf & thought I might go over the wheels before I fit new tyres...
The wheels were painted at least 6 months ago (maybe longer) & have been sitting on my shelf so the engine paint should be cured.
From memory there is Duplicolor Etch primer (the green stuff) underneath it.
Wondering if I should hit them with it or be satisfied with what I've got. - I've had luck with 2k over Duplicolor black - same as a lot of others
I just unwrapped a front fender painted a few months back to find a paint reaction causing crazing but that was Duplicolor black over the top of 2K.
