    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

had a bad chrome one, didn't like it. sprayed it black, didn't like it. thought about a new chrome one but then what the hell, if i am gonna buy a new one then why not experiment...........
opinions welcome, good or bad, i am quite liking it actually, it is growing on me :-\\\

You could paint it silver ( alluminum ) to match the case.

Or anodize blue paint to match the work you already done.
 
Honestly..I think it looks awesome! I may try it with my 700es...Where did you get the colored hardware?
 
it looks to match the body work,no. If it's white also I dig it. Did mine the same red as my tank and fender. Just seems to tie things together a bit more.

Looks good. I've done a couple of these in colour (1 yellow and 1 blue, both to match the rest of the bodywork - worked well) and others in black (which I also liked) or silver (which I didn't really like - looked as if I was covering bad chrome).

haha cheers mate, i really like it now, its grown on me, dont know why i didnt think of it before.

leave out the fluffy pink slippers remarks please, its gone to her head lol, she thinks she is famous now hehe

I take it you don't ride in the rain. That is a very clean motorcycle. I wish I felt the motivation to keep my bikes that clean.

I hear you on that.

I'm going through cleaning the engine of my GS...and after about 45 minutes I was just kinda like "Why am I doing this?? It's going to be dirty again in a week."

After that I focused on just getting all the really nasty grime off of it, but I don't care about a little dirt or grime here and there.

However, with that said, my bike isn't nearly as nice as the one in this thread!! I wish it were though!!
 
I gotta say, leave it white. I looks "right" as it is. And tell ya girl, her pink fuzzys are a little famous.
 
The white cover really ties in with the whole theme rims, under fairing, fender, tank.
It is an excellent accent piece I would not change it.
