I've got a spoked wheel 1978 GS1000 with twin rotors up front: one rotor looks to be the size of the single disk I've got on the front wheel of my other GS1000, the other rotor is not only smaller in diameter, but noticeably thinner. The caliper mounts on either fork leg are at correspondingly different heights.
My guess is that one fork leg is from a single-disk model and the other fork leg is from a dual-disk model. Am I on the right track here, or did Suzuki make a model with asymmetrical fork legs?
