Tank GS1000

Hello together,

actually I am restoring a GS1000. I`d like to rebuild it original. The painting has been "ice blue metallic".
The tank and the plastic part at the rear end are having a recess.

Here`s my question: Does anybody know, where to recieve the original linings for the described model? There must have been the letters "GS" on the back of the tank.

I am from Germany and nobody here could help me neither to get these linings nor even the Information, how they must have been looking like in detail.

repoduction decals and tapeworks both don't have the oem stickers that you are looking for (i'm looking for the same ones diffrent color white/black) i have email both

reproduction decal said if they were to do the decals then they would need me to send the tank to them and the tail. i'm am going to continue looking for a alternative, maybe i will end up tracing my tank and scaning something and doing that myself and sending the file out that i want.

any feed back or help

if anyone has any color oem 78 1000 tank stickers that can be scaned that would be real cool.

The 78 GS1000 (of which I have one) has a chanelled tank with screw on Suzuki emblems made of some metal. The stick on striping is just white over the black tank, same as for the tail piece. Those later models had the stickers.
