A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

had her out and up to speed today. WOW what a totally different bike. handling is AWESOME. everything seems to be right in order. im HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BIKE REALLY HOOKS UP LIKE MAD !!!!

i believe the bike is hooking up so well because of the extra hieght in the back. this seems to keep the front end on the ground. the 180 has to help too !!!!

OK...... Now that the bike is ridable, enough with the static shots!! Now we need some action shots!!!

Orgi the bike is going to be taken to a buddy of mine for about the next three weeks or so. he is a specialist at tuning. im gonna have him do some welding too. i have a lead on some 36mm flatslides. im going to have him install the dyna ign and coils, carbs, pods and adjust the valves. once that is done i will get you some action shots !!!!

Duke, the new camera was a fantastic investment. If it was me I'd throw that old one in the river man. I feel like I am seeing the bike for the very first time! It looks awesome. I want to ride it

I would have to agree with you. With the lower front/higher rear, you get more weight over the front wheel. Also with the smaller front wheel, your turning should be quicker, since the ground has a smaller lever(the wheel) to work against you with.

got the pods on today, hooked them up just to see how she would run with the jets that are already in there. a little sluggish from 2,000 to about 6000. idles fine, top end 6000 to 9000 is real goooooooddddd !!!! i think im going to try to move the needle valves, never done this before so im gonna have to ask for advice?????? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED !!!!!!

Hey DUKE, if your gonna stick with those carbs your gonna need a jet kit and man oh man you will really feel a difference. But if you do find some flatslide carbs you will be just fine. Have you tried Ebay, any set of Mikuni carbs from a GSXR1000 should work. You might have to change the intake boots though.

Well, at least they are not a show stopper... you have the CB shocks to hold you over.

It sucks they are giving you the run around. I'd be tempted to tell them to "pound sand". There are plenty of places out there that can get you a set of springs.

I have an 05 Hayabusa and an 80gs1100 dragbike. The busa is a ride it to work on monday and race it on the weekends. My Gs is a dragrace only setup.

What pipe is that on your Hayabusa ? its nice and retro.

Cheers,
Mark...

It's a Brock Davidson street megaphone(brockracing.com). It's a combination of a dragpipe and a street exhaust. They are very loud and come with a removable baffle to make them even louder.

got the battery box moved up and out of sight. i really like the look now it makes the bike look extended !!!!]
