DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi,
That?s a nice ride you?ve built. Can I just ask what sprockets you are running and how much longer are your rear shocks?
I?m running 17/47 530 chain but want to kick up the rear like yours (it looks sweet).
I know its prolly in your thread, ive been thru it once, but cant remember where I saw it. And 21 pages is a long thread to search page by page.
Appreciate it.

Cheers

Ed

Don't forget tech support....ahahahahahahah

ed it is an alum 49 tooth vortex sprocket, 2002 bandit swingarm. shocks are 1 inch longer than stock. i also forgot a few items

offset sprocket 100.00
530 chain 130.00
shipping 200.00
TECH SUPPORT PRICELESS
so that makes the grand total of aBOUT 4,000.00

thanks Duke,

I have mine mocked up at about an inch too.

I am thinking of making a neat undertray to replace the inner guard and allow the bulk of the electricals to be moved under the seat.

this will clean up the area in between the side panels and allow the removal of the side panels for that yoshi 1135R look.

once agin nice build.

Cheers

Ed

Bandit swingarms come with 180's standard- how big you looking?

thomas the swingarm isnt the problem it is the frame. the offset sprocket will shove the chain over and it will rub the frame. you have to grind the frame just a little to make it work. no way a 190 0r 200 will fit. 180 is the max and it is real tight. i have a 1/4 inch space between tire and chain also.

Got that right! We have some really good people on this web forum :D

well said and even understated...

not only is the collective knowledge awesome.... but you guyz that offer it do so as generously and patiently as anyone could ever hope...
