DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello everyone Noob question for you...these are my carbs and I intend running pods on them so is it as simple as fitting a stage 3 dynojet kit or not?
picture.php

NOT. You have alot more to do than just throw a jet kit at them. It takes time to tune them properly . As no 2 bikes run the same. If it were that easy everyone would do it.

Just as I thought..you hear on some bike modding forums get a stage 3 kit and done (cant be that simple)

a stage 3 kit will put you in a ball park but will not be perfect.
it just takes out all the guess work starting from scratch.plus you get the Dynojet needles, which are far better than the stock suzuki items

So am I right in assuming then that a gs750 80/85 stage 3 dynojet kit will be ok for these carbs? coz thats the earliest kit they do

Pretty sure the dynojet kit is for CV carbs. Your don't look like CV carbs. More than likely you will need larger main jets and to
adjust the needles.

I know there Mikuni vm26 definitely not cv not sure what model there off though think there pretty standard to 750/1000's I'm told

So what are you putting them on?

BTW, there are no Dynojets kits for these carbs.

gs750e engine (bough engine first) and was told these were the correct carbs for the job

Belay that last question. The first thing to do is open up the bowl and find out what the pilot and main jet are.

do I get that from the numbers on the jets themselves? if so the main jet has 5201 and the pilot has 15

The main jet number should be something like 90 or 110

You may be getting ahead of yourself. The carbs are correct for a 750 made before 1980. If your motor is 1980 or newer, these are the wrong carbs

Post up a picture of your motor, it's easy to tell the difference
