I've been installing a new set of plugs in my totally stock '81 1100EX each spring for four years now. I think they've been DR8ES-L throughout. Today, I checked my Clymer manual instead of my old Suzuki service manual, and found a different NGK plug number shown (actually two different numbers on two different specification tables). Then I went to a NGK resellers website, and found yet another NGK number specified!
Here's the rundown: Original Suzuki service manual (and supplement, and owners manual) shows DR8ES-L. Clymer showed B-8ES and D8EA. The website showed D8EA. Who to believe? Any insights are welcomed! Thanks, Al.
