I went to the Toronto bike show this weekend. It's the manufacturers show, so not a lot of gawdy, blinged out custom show bikes that you would just sit in the garage and get polished with a diaper. The show was relatively small, but decent. Not too busy either. Checked out all the new plastic fantastic bikes. Out of the big 4 super sports, I think I liked the R1 and Gixxers the most. They fit well and looked decent. The Ninjas are horrible looking and that front end is HUGE! Even on the ZX6 the front end is about a foot in front of the gauges.

, Triumph T-100 (because it's like my XS650, and felt VERY nice IMHO), Aprilia, Guzzi, the Benelli Cafe Racer, and the new 3 wheeler from Bombardier. Out of all those fancy go-fast bikes, only one stood out as something that I would actually buy.... a lowly Kawa KLR650. Nothing big or fast, but just felt "right". Been thinking of an enduro kinda bike for a while now, and always thought the KLR or a big XT would be a good fit. Can't go too small, as my drive to work takes the expressway for a number of KMs. Now I just gotta sell something to finance getting one.....
