    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Alright Ryan! Another feather in your cap! I would take luck over skill any day at the track but when you have both going for you its a very hard combination to beat.

I think a picture of the bike AND the Champ would make an excellent BOM.
 
Thanks guys. I never expected to take everything like that. I really had the luck come to me when I needed it. I was nervous all day, but when we got to racing I just seemed to calm right down.

If I come up with a recent pic I'll post it up. Thanks again.

wish I had had as good of luck this past weekend... went back to my "home" track to discover the wheeli gremlin had returned... we thought we had it figured out after Sat only to be dissappointed yet again on Sun to see wheelie after wheelie again...

My mph had been down on Sat by about 10 - finally discovered Sunday after my first run that I had a boost leak.. up-pipe came loose from the plentum but not enough to loose all boost just enough to slow me down some.

fixed that and boom the HP was there again but unfortunately wheelies were too.. this time in both first and second gear.

track was hookin - after ALOT of adjustments and scratchin heads we can only come to the conclusion last thing to change out is the shock... figure it is wore out and just can't handle the load when the track hooks.. put the bike on a so so track and she does well... on a sticky track and up she comes with same settings as used last...

Here's one shot the track guy caught on Sat where the bike was coming back down from a bunny hop (finally got use to short shifting the wheelies rather than getting off the gas) was told rear was 6" off the ground before this pic was taken...

was still managing some 7 sec passes but my 60's were horrible high 1.4's and 1.5 all day...

then this video was from Sunday.. managed a 7.96 even with TWO wheelies with short shifts... and yet again crapy 60's




We are swappin out my shock for nem's and see if it makes a difference this weekend at our 2wheel speed event - fingers crossed

Thanks... I'm surprised how many folks are so quick to suggest just that... "wheelie bars" lol.... I am typically one for more of a challenge but I do have to admit I'm tiring of this problem with not finding the solution to it..

yet again it makes me that much MORE determined to solve it. LOL

who knows one day I may switch to different style bike but for now I like competing in the Prostreet class where there's no bars, slicks, sliders, or 2step...

Not to mention being the only female right now on a prostreet bike making it into the 7's is quite the thrill ;)

I should have put some videos on that DVD for you from the ProStar shootouts. Those people are crazy. Your just a little crazy but getting crazier by the day.

Another shift fork gets changed Wednesday. Autos.... You have to love this sport.

We still have one race to go, then the finals, then snow fest.

Me too hun... Me too... my local series ends this weekend and I had hoped to finish it off good...

just imagine what that shot would have looked like if he'd gotten it when the rear was still 6" off the ground... would look like I was in Motorcross instead of dragracin LOL There was another shot that was way up there and I still managed to save the run with short shifting but couldn't afford to buy them both so I chose the one from the non-damaged side and with the rear slightly off ground :p

Wish someone would have gotten that pass on vide from the side everyone watchin kept talkin about it but to be honest when I was on the bike I surely did not know I left the ground like that - thank god she came down straight :o

I'll be there for the Sled and Bike Fest ... any chance you could save me a spot next to ya? I'll be getting there late on Sat (as in barely to make qualifying) since I have to wait for Nem to get off work to make it out with me...

Old school low tech drawthru intake.


Hanger, hoses, guzzler and sensors.


Switch panel with Autometer boost gauge, shift light, MPS TB and shift switches on left, MPS clutch lever, Pingle dead man, Magura throttle, brake and grips. Koenig found an original fuel cap for this chassis. They no longer use this type so this was a great find for the old junker.
 
WOW that turbo shot is HOT! but uhm why no clamps on the rubber tubing part?

Because my dear, the Roman empire was not built in one day. LOL

Nothing is tight in the pictures. Just cut the hoses last night and put it together for final fit. All the oil and fuel hoses were all in place to make sure nothing was going to cause any problems. I will pick up a couple of high pressure clamps tonight and plan to make the hanger strap from steel to finish it up.

I just need to mount the ignition, put a bung in the exhaust for the O2 sensor, make a heat shield, plate the exhaust, get a carb and set it up, cut the body, fab a wheelie bar (Koenig will be doing this part), finish wiring the data logger, add a vent line, install the chain, put the cams in ............ Next year for sure. I may fire it up over the winter.

reckon I'm just a lil sensative to those clamps on the tubin since mine has come loose twice now :rolleyes:

gonna look at sending the uppipe and plenum back to get redone with a different style of locking clamp system like is used at the bottom of it so it can't happen again as well as get a blow off valve put in to allow for excess boost (from gettin off the throttle) to escape rather than damage my throttle bodies or fan blades :-k

I use the same type of clamps that you see holding the intake on. The turbocharger and the plenum both have a lip on them. There is no way I could pull one apart. I have seen guys strap the turbo to the plenum but never saw a need.

When I chop on the flag bike the old Rajay tries to suck the carb into its intake. This can't happen so instead it sucks oil past the carbon seal and into the intake. The only time it's not a problem is with low boost pressure or instead of chopping, I let the turbo spin down before closing the throttle. Then I end up thinking about the turbo instead of stopping the bike. LOL.

I wouldn't have guessed you would ever hit the surge line but never played with anything like your spaceship.
