    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Almost had a deal worked out for 2000 and my trailer. We were close to a deal, but not gonna happen. For that price I was not going to pass it up.

That's nice! I could live in it but would need to buy something to pull it. Does this mean you own it now?
 
Man what timing, hit the button last night and a split second later she'd roar to life.
Today it's 32 degres out there now and they are saying that bad word.............SNOW

Maybe I'll just slap the snow chains on her and go around the block a few times

I went over there yesterday and gave him my trailer and a check. I put my trailer next to it and it makes the old one look like a baby trailer. It's 8.5'x24'. The v-nose adds another 2' at the center. From the front of the hitch to the rear is 28'. It weights 3600 lbs and you can haul 7000 lbs in it. There are a couple things I'm going to do when I get it out of storage. he's letting me keep it over his house until April. Give me a chance to get my truck set up for it. he also gave me the weigh distribution hitch with the sway bar included. Probably another $500 worth of stuff.

I'm going to set it up like I had the smaller trailer. Build some cabinets and work benches in the front. Add a couple more outlets on the inside. Whatever else I can think of. I think it's big enough to do pretty much whatever I want with it.

I think I'm going to remove that raised aluminum from the floor and just replace it with some flat pieces. Or I may leave it I just can't decide yet. I need to see some cabinets in v-nose race trailers. I'm not sure how I want to build my cabinets yet. I'm going to be busy when the weather breaks.

Congrats! You should be very happy with it!

We have a snowmobile V nose that does double duty. I attached a picture. We can get two drag bikes and two pit bikes in it. One side of the V is a pull down door so you can ride the sled out. We put the electrical, floor, cabnets and tool box in it. To top it off there is AC on the roof that we added. It's much easier to pull than the big trailor, but can get a little cramped with all the stuff we take. The only thing I don't like is that the height of the braces is maybe 5'10" and I am 6'. The far side cabinet is mounted to the V. The sterio is bolted down to the top of the cabinet.

Ryan, in case you don't know, if the trailer is rated for 7000 lbs & it weighs 3600, you will only be able to SAFELY put another 3400 lbs IN it. It is an awesome looking trailer but be careful that your truck is big enough to pull it safely. That means a MINIMUM of 3/4 ton or bigger truck. NO 1/2 ton truck to tow with as they don't have big enough brakes on them to be safe. A lot of people get in accidents because they don't realize how much truck they need to be safe. Good luck with it, it was a GREAT deal for you! Ray.
 
I finally got around to ordering some of that black line from Schnitz. 2000 PSI working pressure, who would have guessed?

Started working on the body last weekend. The chain cracked the body about 2' down the side and turned about a 1' X 3" section of glass into paper. Everytime I look at it I think how luckey that it happened when it did and that it missed me.

I would but that black plastic hose is not so impressive to look at. I'm going to see if I can get some fresh blood to join us.

Been working on my second engine, getting the cases clean up to put the 1166 back together. The 1395 is waiting on a chain and 16T 5/8 sprocket from Schnitz's to show up.

Bottle looks nice. Do they paint or anodize them?

So I'm not the only one building a spare motor now. I havn't started to take mine back apart yet. I finally have all the parts to finish it. I am betting you will have yours done and started before me. Are the cases in the bike still the ones you cracked a few years ago?

Got a little welding done and two layers of glass and lots of resin in the body.
 
The bottle is just painted, it's almost a shame to clamp anything around it.

Yeap one down and one to go, The case that i cracked is the one in the bike, it's the only one that's been bore out for a big block. I had to tear it apart to put the 750 ratio crank in and the big block back in. I did checkout the repaired area when it was apart. I'd figure if it was going to crack again it would of done it when i hit the nos, so far so good.

If I didn't run out of carb cleaner the 1166 would be together already.

Don't worry Mark I bet you'll get it together in less than an hour, cause once you start it's hard to stop.

I keep seeing some nice ebay GS rollers in Florida, man if they were only in Texas I buy one.
 
Guess I'm not sure what your wanting me to look at Ray. You are correct, this one is 59.5mm and you are correct on the stock length. And yes, you are correct that 59.5 is less than 66. That's 3 for 3. Your spot on today.

Are you thinking that a shorter stroke is no good for a high reving engine?

Don't sell yourself short. I think you could do it justice! Your going to be running quicker than me next year! Yea, I doubt it's a cheap job.

I use an air filter on my race bike. Pretty rare thing I know. I washed it out tonight and let me tell ya, that water was black. I may try one of the Outerwears pre-filters next year.
