So I've never adjusted my 82 750t chain as it was within spec and looked good but noticed it's gotten a little loose with about 1.5" of slack so I went to adjust it, however I noticed that the adjuster in the left side was turned in further than on the right. When turned them in enough to get the chain down to 1" of slack and lined them both up with the same reference mark, now the chain binds for about 1/4 of the wheels rotation.
I can get it to not bind but only if one side is turned in significantly further than the other side. Should I just do that and call it good or is something warped or bent and needs replaced? Any tips for getting perfect alignment between the rear sprocket and chain when adjusting slack? Thanks!
