A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

What kind of 1100 or 1150 hub has a flat area next to the rivets? Or is it aftermarket? Has what looks like casting marks.

I have a couple of stock 1150 and 1100 hubs. I'll look. From memory that looks stock.

Here is pic of a stock one I have and I also have a V&H modified one at the shop. I will also look at it and get back to you and let you know if it is the same as this one or like the one you have. If I remember right it looks like the one you have posted I think and I purchased it new in 96. The one you posted looks stronger I would also think. Both of mine are out of 1100's not sure how the 1150's are.

So maybe it's a billet basket and not a stock one. That would be good.

Found a couple more stock ones here. If you are showing casting marks probably not billet but was cast in a different a (better) mold. I still have not looked at the one I got from Vance and Hines yet to compare.

I am watching that one already so if that is the basket you are referring to, prepare to have deep pockets as I am bidding to buy it. Ray.
No problem here I still have the helicut gears. So no threat lol. Might run you up a few bucks just for the fun of it though. :-\\\ Just kidding! Seriously. :D Really looks like a good one for sure. Good luck.

Thanks. I will probably get raped on it though! Ray.

I just looked at the one that Vance and Hines sold me back in 1996 and it looks the same as the one you have with the raised area around the rivets and it was not billet but was cast. I found a (small) number 49211 raised up in the casting also that is a Suzuki part # Looks like they started making them stronger since they were prone to fail back in the 80's
