A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Like the title says, what's going on in your neck of the woods this weekend? Anything exciting or a must see or a good restaurant? The weather is looking good, I'm going riding somewhere, just don't know where yet... After being layed up for a month and a half, I have to make up some riding time. I don't think I'll catch Jedz with miles ridden, but I won't be to far behind him. I'm about to hit 15,000 for the year. That's a lot of singing, Bottles of Beer on the Wall! 🌞

We just got back from a 6 week RV trip to Alaska and now have to catch up on things around here, firstly is staining/treating the 186' of fence I put this year. We do have a 30 km. mountain bike route we want to do on Saturday so it'll be nice to take a break from the fall chores.

I hate to say it but the leafs are starting to change. Might take a boat ride down (actually flows north) the MN River to the Mississippi and then into the StCroix.

I also need to go help out some friends at the local airport just south of me. We got hit with 8 confirmed tornadoes and the airport got ripped to Sh!t !!

Take a look....

btw: That poor airplane hanging from the crane is a Bonanza. Thats what I do most days and why I call myself Bonanzadave..

On Saturday I'm meeting with a group of about 20 other guys to read through and discuss Psalm 119. Anyone want to join?

If that's not your cup of tea, Ozzy Osbourne comes to Isleta Amphitheater Sunday night. Tickets range from $90 all the way up to $560! I saw him in 1988 (for $25) so I'll skip this one.

Oh, the Saturday event is free...

Next weekend is Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta. I had a blast last year chasing balloons on the bike. I rode under Darth Vader, Yoda, and a giant cow balloon. There's a motorcycle balloon I really want to see. Maybe this year I'll catch it.

Ha, I've been through Paducah, Kentucky. Last year on my way to Arizona. However, at 600 miles from Youngstown it's a little far for a weekend jaunt. But something like that is what I'm thinking about! Maybe I'll shoot over to Baltimore for some crabs. 🌞

No worries Norm, most any health clinic should have penicillin for your crabs.

Haha, very funny Larry. If I wanted them type of crabs, I could just go to the south side of Y-town and pick them up!
Roger, the Balloon Festival is on my bucket list, maybe next year. I bet the weather is really getting nice in the southwest. 👍

Crabs you say?

I'll likely be working, and am also on call

That's what I'm talking about! You rock Dorkburger, thanks for posting. 👍

This is my main game plan for Sunday:

I also am working hard at my MS5000 Challenge so I will be riding 400-500 miles over the weekend:

I just crested 3K miles since 9-1-18 for my MS500 challenge and I have till the 20th of October to hit my minimum of 5K... You might catch me Norm! If you move to Florida and ride 8K miles ever month! I'm quickly approaching the 26K mile mark for the season, going to hit 20K miles on my (2018)Triumph by the end of the weekend...

Nothing really exciting I have to stack wood and work on winterizing my home. I'm putting up a shed for the bikes too!... Plus work, insane 60 hour work weeks... Amazed I'm still keeping up with my miles so far for my charity endurance ride.

Your always welcome here in Vermont! It's just a 12 hour haul...
