A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

All are ready to sand and polish..whew..thanks again for the support.

Sexy. Especially the Cooley scheme. The Red is a close second.

All look great. Never been a big fan of red but have to say gorgeous

Set #2 in my book!

Made your paycheck for the month I see... :)

They're all awful.......

But I don't dislike the red as much as I dislike the others. ;)

Cracking jobs again (as usual).

Terrific work on all three ! But if I have to choose. { which isn't easy } The red Skunk. Have you ever done a red and white Cooley ?

I haven't..yet. I've talked about the possibility a couple of times, and would love to do one just to say I have. I really like the red and white. Even considered it for mine before I sprayed it..came reeeeaally close. :D

Put me down for #1! Was that a stock scheme?

Yes, but I'm not sure that it wasn't a Euro-only-thing. I know that originally it had a thin black stripe down the center of the white, but the owner didn't want that added.

I like the Red, but wonder how the Blue would look with the White stripe instead of the 2 tone Blue.

Good question. It sure would've been easier, for sure. Reproduction Decal had to make the blue stripes especially for this order. It took an extra week to do so, but they're really friendly about stuff like that. Through help/info garnered here, I was able to determine it was the same blue as on a later year GS pinstripe. I passed that along, and they made it happen.

AAaaah Larry, your work never ceases to impress :D

My vote is the Cooley, followed by the Skunk... gotta love a Cooley right?

I'll have one for you soon, Octain. A 1968 Triumph Bonnieville that will have a stock colored paint job, but..with a satin finish...;). Should be pretty cool..

I have SO thought about a 78 GS1000 with the stock Skunk colors only in a matte finish.
Would really give it a sinister look. With shiny engine bits to boot.
Hmm, makes my mouth water..:D

You're gonna get a chance to have some fun when I finally get the Kat to you (and the '78 1K as well) Larry. I know I've been saying that for a while, but it's coming.

LARRY!!!!!! That blue is gonna be the next 78 1000C scheme for me. Glad you got the ins on the decal kit!! That was one of my concerns since till reading this i havent been able to source one. I already know the cost and when i get seriuos about doing the build I will start eating Ramen noodles and drinking nothing but water till I have saved enough. Now as for my favorite flavor..judging on the pics, I would say youve just invented a 4 flavor NEOPOLITAN:):):):)
