So I had a problem with my wheel which made it unsafe and I had to buy a new wheel. I am going to check the splines tonight on it and give it a good once over if I have time also. When I got the wheel today it had a pretty new tire on it. I had bought new tires and had them mounted on my wheels and then found that the one wheel was unsuable. So now the question is which Tire to use? I will give you the most info that I can and comments would be greatly appreciated on this topic. Ok do my new tires I have on my "old" wheels are the cheng shin hi max and are brand new but the one is on a broken wheel. Now what my "new" back wheel has a Dunlop d404 I think it is and manufacture date is 20 08 which seems to me that if it was on a bike at most they had one summer to ride it. So do I just keep the dunlop on and save the time/money of getting it transferred etc. Is that safe to have cheng on front and dunlop on back? So what do you guys think?
