I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

So I'm looking for a quarter fairing for my '78 GS750EC... Not too hot on the look of them... I like the look of a "naked" bike with minimal bodywork (side covers and that's about it...), but I could use something small to block the wind a bit. did some searches on here and got some good suggestions, but not enough pics... I checked out the EMGO "Viper" and it looks nice from the side and 3/4 view, but head on, I'm not a huge fan... found these http://www.classic-motorcycle-fiberglass.com/fairings/Stealth bikini fairing short screen.htm

and these

but it's kind of hard to imagine what they would look like on my bike, and it would be expensive and time consuming to buy them all and try them out:eek:
so what I'm asking here is for some of you guys that have quarter fairings on models similar to mine to show off your bikes... post some pics from a couple of different angles and let me know what fairing you've got... It would help me out a lot to get some ideas...

that's one of the ones I was checking out.... I'm kind of leaning towards that one actually, so I was hoping someone on here had this on their bike so I could see what it would look like... :D:pray:

This is my '78 with an EMGO 1/4 fairing. I'll provide more pictures if you think it is a fairing you want to consider.....

Maier GPz style fairing is a reasonable option.

I'm leaning towards the one in the attached pic... but at $350 and shipped from Australia, i don't know. Anybody know of any similar looking fairings that won't put that big of a dent in the wallet?

Doesnt Airtech make one just like that?

www.airtech-streamlining.com under their vintage fairings section...More faring choices than you can shake a stick at!!

that's my problem... too many choices. I'm having a hard time picturing what they would look like on my bike, and my wallet's not fat enough to just buy and experiment.

You like the look of "naked" better than a 1/4 fairing?

How about just a small windshield?

Did you see the one that BassCliff has on his bike?
I think he said it's by National Cycle, and it's easily removed in about a minute or two if you want to go really "naked".
