Can anyone explain to me why the battery box is earthed?
I can understand that on my original setup the Regulator (separate unit from the Rectifier) which was mounted to the battery box required that the battery box be earthed to supply a good ground for the regulator.
But why does the battery box need to be earthed to the frame when the R/R is mounted on the air box?
