Started on the wiring on my 1978 GS1000 and cannot get it to fire. The wiring was a complete mess so I upgraded to a SH775 and cleaned the connections where needed. Now it will not start! I have the connections as follows:
From the Stator: All 3 wires are wired directly into the SH775
From the SH775: The positive is wired to the red going into the fusebox with a tee going to a red wire in the main harness.
From the Dyna ignition: White is connected to white in the main harness.
Red is connected into the orange/white in the main harness.
Black is connected to the black/yellow in the main harness.
I have 3 wires that are not connected coming out of the main harness. They are green/white, white/red and a solid red.
Any idea what may be wired wrong?
