"This is a good deal! Really... I mean it" I'm sure I would love this guy, sounds like someone with a grip on reality!

I like how he paid extra for the custom exhaust to stick out further than stock.

I believe it was posted as an "interest" item by someone on the forum, not the owner.

This is more frustrating than funny, but illustrates how people can't even take the time to read one question anymore. This is a recent exchange I had on an 1100 model listed for sale:

            Me:
Is this the 1100G or GL model? I can't tell by the pictures.

            Thanks.

            CL seller:

            yes it is!

What would you have done if the seller came back and said it's the "GL1100" model?

I would have told her it's an odd looking Goldwing.

I just sent an info email to her, and it is now a GS100G. Lost a bit of displacement somehow.

Its amazing what people do to these bikes, then think because they put $3000 worth of crap on them they can sell them for thousands!

Most of the time it's more like $3000 worth of destruction and $3 worth of flat black rattle can paint on everything. They end up taking more off than putting on, and removing most of the parts with a ....rant rant rant, can't help it, sorry, and to those who think we're purist, it's not a Suzuki thing, I hate to see this done to any old bike, it's a Moron thing!

I'm not above customs and creativity, but how many times do you ever see one of these Craiglist builds start off their description like this....I improved the safety with steel braided brake lines....I carefully removed unnecessary components to lighten it up for racing...

This next statement may still be upsetting to most who like these little bikes, but I'm glad the majority of these abominations are mostly relegated to 450 and 550 cc bikes.

Yes think that what they are doing to these bikes is sad indeed. And I agree with old skool that at least it seems like this is mostly relegated to the 450s and 550s. Makes it a bit easier to swallow. Not much though.

HAHA! No, I posted that up here in the funnies. It's been on CL in Portland for quite a while. I'm always searching for GS's here and depending on the day I either laugh or cry when I see that botched abortion.
