    I suspect you might like using the tele more.

    THat was "a couple hundred feet", from the bike and sign? The is quite a tele.
    Here is google satellite view of where I was standing and where the bike was parked. It says 185 feet, give or take a few extra steps. And yes, I do like the "tele". It says 75-300mm on the lens. There are more settings and options with this camera than I know how to use.
