    1977 GS750 Colours

G'day long time lurker but nooby poster. This question has probably been done to death but I need to ask it.
I have a 2/77 single disc, wire wheel GS750 for some years that I'm finally going to restore.
The paintwork is a non standard maroon and there is nothing on the tank or ducktail to show what the original colour was therefore what were the original colours and their codes and names.
I've done a little bit of research but there does seem to be some confusion.
I know they came in blue and red but did they also come in Orange.
The reason why I ask is back in mid 1977 I was in the Army and one of my Captains was selling his almost new GS750 and i'm 99% sure it was orange but I've never seen one since (wish I had bought it. Bought an XS750 instead. Worst bike EVER ).
I would like to paint it orange as it's so rare but I would prefer it to be an original colour therefore if there was no orange it will be blue.
    Any codes/names would be helpfull.

    Thankyou

U.S. models were candy gypsy red or potomac blue metallic. I've never seen nor heard of orange, but other parts of the world may be different. Have you looked through the Photo gallery, at this site, for "77" GS750

Cheers. I've seen some brochures that appear to be orange but could just be the lighting. Will keep searching.

          Hi

The orange version was sold to some European countries but never in the UK. I don't know if any were exported to Aussie. This photo is of one originally exported to Switzerland!

Sorry, forgot to mention the colour. It is called Pure Orange and is Suzuki code 00N.

STRATO BLUE at RS motorbike paint. Some of their stuff comes ready to pour in the gun and shoot. Verify this before you "assume" you need to add reducer.

EDIT.... I should note this is the standard 750 color. You may need to look at US import colors they list as well.

RS Bike Paint supply motorcycle paint & scooter paint for touch up, aerosol and spray gun use. Honda Vespa Harley Suzuki BMW Yamaha Kawasaki Triumph Piaggio Ducati

This is a useful document to download. It lists all the paint names and codes for Suzuki. I'm sure you guys have seen it before but here it is
