New member from East Texas
I may have been a member a long time ago, but I couldn't remember my password or name. My love of big Suzukis goes back to 1978 when I bought a 74 GT750 from a close friend. I loved the old Buff, even put J&R chrome expansion chambers on it. In 1981 the same friend was selling his 1979 GS1000E, with 29 smoothbores, RC pipe, and 750 ex. cam. I had to have it. It was the best looking motorcycle I had ever seen then, and still is. When I got it, there was only 1100 miles on it. I sold the GT to a close friend. The 1000E is the best piece of machinery I have ever owned. I have 2 1980 GS1100Ls also. They have low bars on them, and are mainly bracket racers. I will own my 1000E until I can't throw a leg over it.Torn & Frayed
