    Father and Son project.

Another DIY project here. Was looking for something fun to do with my 18 year old son. So here we are with a 1984 Suzuki GS 750E. Well, I think you know how this story goes. Engine was running pretty well and then just like that it started missing. Hmmm, possibly plugs, wires, coils, Next thing you know.....You got it. A box full of parts and a lonely frame. Well, 6 months later. The frame and wheels and tank are painted and its time to start putting parts back on. So here I am looking for help on how to find certain parts.

Ignition system and Electronic parts to start.

Look forward to posting my pics.

    Thanks

    Tom

Yep, unwritten (and unenforced) forum rule: no pictures, no help.

        Welcome to GSR.

Father & son project sounds interesting.

        Yes, do post pics.

So... perhaps I am missing part of the story, but.... tearing it down to frame is part of troubleshooting the problem you suspect to be an ignition problem ....

SO the dissassembly, and painting, and all, does sound like good father-son project.

Do post more specific sysmptoms about the missing, in tech section. Lots of folks willing to help. I will ask if you investigated if the plug caps are going bad. Often overlooked, and are about $5 each.
