My crew has done this for a few years, usually autumn when the colors kick in. Every year we do StrangeDays in Vernon, NJ...its like a biker Woodstock....mostly vintage and homemade, but all are welcome. 420 for 3 days....camping....we usually have a compound set up to house 30 guys....food, beer and bikes....live tunes..... www.strangedaysevent.blogspot.com .....caution : some material may not be safe for work.....we had a member ride all the way from Iowa TWICE to attend....
we also do a ride through the Warwick, NY valley up to Campbell hall and Newburgh. We stop and harass Paul Jr designs....stop at OCC for thos whove never been, then go to Ted Doering's "Motorcyclepedia museum" ( a must for all !)....we end the ride down rt 218 along the hudson, go up Bear Mountain, then all split up.
we also join up with many benefit rides such as hunger and cancer. ALL models of bikes are welcome on any of our rides. Its a no colors policy as well.
