Glen, this one was the lowest B-King listed... IN THE COUNTRY! Average price is $8K with an average of 15K miles. This one has 19K... A steal...

I love those things. They are very much an incarnation of the GS1150E-naked, raw, beastly (x10 in the B-King's case).

With 95 pounds of torque, watch for arms ripping off. Buy stock in tires. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-r...0-b-king/2007/

There were actually 2 recalls, one for the clutch bolts and one for the rectifier. Any Suzuki dealership can look up your VIN and tell you whether they have been done or not. GREAT bike, and $5500 was a STEAL! I sold mine last summer, simply because I hadn't been riding it, a forum member from Michigan came down to get it. I've had 2 shoulder surguries in the past few years, and this bike does NOT lend to riding it when your shoulders are sore, trust me on this one! Does yours have the TRE installed to disable the factory rev limiter, or maybe a Power Commander, which can basically do the same thing? Mine would power wheelie all day long 1-3rd gear, it was hard to keep the front wheel on the ground, fastest thing I have ever ridden. I put bar risers on mine, and you'll likely need to invest in some vibranators if you don't have them already, these inline 4's are notorious for handlebar buzzing, it was the first thing I did to mine, and made a huge difference! I assume you've already joined the B-King forum? Great bunch of guys, but be forwarned, 85% of them are overseas, not a whole lot of these in the states! You made a great choice, enjoy!

They also have a Facebook page, I'm sure there's a link to it on the forum!

Thanks so much for the Recall info. Dealer is closed till Tuesday, I'll be doing more paper work with them over the phone and I'll be sure to find the Recall information and pass it on to ensure they go over it. I'm very pumped about the torque!!! The one thing I miss about my B-12 with stage 3 was the oodles of torque down low... The FZ1 just isn't cutting the custard on it. I'm not sure about the power commander. I'll inquire too. Like I said I just got the preliminary paper work done, I saw a Bking for a steal and just put the money down ASAP. I'll keep you posted on the details as they come in.

I'll be sure to become a new member of their forum... One of many things that's going to need to be done.

Congratulations on your new purchase! The sound made by 2Bro's cans is just simply awesome! (have a single 2Bro can on a Triumph Daytona 675 triple, and that sound is the best music ever to your ears!)

Just got the VIN checked out through my local Suzuki dealer. Comes out squeaky clean and all recalls have been corrected. I had to re-write my insurance policy (1 year policy and went through divorce last February now I'm technically single) Ex-wife has a horrid driving record. My Insurance with the B-king on full coverage and the FZ1 and GR with state minimum liability I'm looking at $33 a month insurance payment... Or Just $396 a year... Fine by me!!! the insurance company also said the bike was was worth closer to $8K in their system with the additional post factory bits. So yeah...

Now it's just a waiting game! February 21st is when I pick the bike up and drop the remaining $1500 down to bring it home. I'm sure I'll get screwed at the DMV and end up paying tax on the $8K it's worth and not what I paid for it... Bastards. How it ALWAYS WORKS!

Going to join the forum later tonight/ this morning when my shift is done.

So pumped I can't wait to touch it... Have to wait for spring and then I can ride it!!

I'll start a new thread once she comes in.

                      Trevor State minimum is this:
Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability $25,000 person/$50,000 accident/$10,000 property damage
                      Uninsured/ Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury & Property Damage $50,000 person/$100,000 accident/$10,000 property w/$150 ded
                      Medical Payments No coverage
                      Enhanced Injury Protection No coverage
                      Transport Trailer No coverage

I will have full coverage on the B-King but will drop to just state minimum on the other 2 bikes. The FZ is so beat up from the last total the only reason I kept full coverage was of all the accessories (which will be coming off of it). The GR650 is so old that in it's best value it's only worth $1200... Not really worth full coverage on that either.

Holy crap that's low!! Something I have never understood is why Americans are only required to have such low liability coverage in a country that if you do go to the hospital it could cost you thousands a day to be there. Would that liability coverage get used up quickly? And why do we have to have so much liabity, in my case 2 million was my choice.

                        Can someone help me understand?
