    Gs1000 motor swap

Question? I'm going to look at a 1979 gs1000 drag bike Saturday. I'm wondering if a motor I already have will bolt in? The motor is out of a 1982 gs1100e thanks for any help

Yes, it will bolt up other than the bolt hole under the center of the engine won't line up.

If you're going to race that 82 motor look into getting the crank welded.
