Its kind of hard to tell but there looks like a piston circlip in all that mess. I wouldn't want to be riding that bike if a piston pin comes loose.

I had a little Honda 65 Super Sport way back in the day and it lost a clip after a rebuild. The bike ran good, but the end result was it wore a groove in the cylinder wall, had it bored to the next larger size.
It doesn't look like a clip to me, too small diameter wire. Those clips are more rigid.
My concern would be that chunk of metal, could we get more pic's of that?

The cam chain cushion chunk bothers me the most. Who knows what the rest of the cushion that didn't fall into the sump looks like.
