Personally I don't have an issue with using a good aftermarket head gasket, but when it comes to the base gaskets and o-rings, I'm with Ed, use only OEM parts.

I have one of the Harbor Freight plug cleaners pictured earlier. Ran the same set of plugs in the Shadow for 6 years. I used it today to clean the plugs I pulled out of the 73 Yamaha TX750 project im working on. I use the air gun to blow the blasting grit out of the wells and the threads and they look good as new from the box.

I take it from the -000 in the part number the rings are standard size. If Rob doesn't want them I'd like to be next in line. No rush in deciding Rob, I'd just like to have them in my parts stock.
