Help please
Hi before i rip my clutch apart can any one tell me the size of the springs in the clutch basket my bike is a 1981 1000cc katana many thanks JasonTags: None

I don't quite understand what you are asking, jd.
Do you wish to know what to replace them with?
If so, the consensus is to purchase new OEM springs from a Suzuki dealer.

Size? as in length, diameter? Suzuki clutch springs are pretty must the same size, it is the spring tension (compression rates) that is different.sigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002
1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
