    closing up split case

My friend is almost ready to seal up the case on his 1100 and asked is there any particular sealant that the forum prefers?

Yamabond, Hondabond, all are ThreeBond Liquid Gasket 1194. You want a semi-drying gasket sealant.

1194 works well. Threebond makes all the various Hondabond, Yamabond, etc. products, but they are not all the same formula because they have various usages.

Hylomar blue works well for me.

I only use Yamabond or Threebond. Never a leak with either.

I have ALWAYS used the Threebond, 1207B. You can get it at a Suzuki dealer & I have NEVER had an issue with it. It is the black sealer & what is called for in the 1100 & 1150 manuals. Ray.
