Only thing I could figure was the alluminum had reached it's age?? as I was using a torque wrench to torque them on and they kept breaking when I tried to take them out. Did this bike actually run? I mean if that cam journal was only held on by one bolt I can't believe there wasn't a TON of noise.
Only 32000 km on it and one owner !! Some older gent that sayshe scared the crap out of himself on the bikeso he parked it!!

A shop 'might' be able to remove it without having to put in a Helicoil.Rob

Tried drilling right beside the other hole with a smaller bit , if I use a 3/32 drill bit for the 2 nd hole ill hit the treads ... would a stainless steel drill bit chew up a titanium coated drill bit ? Calling it a night will start fesh tomorrow trying to get this last bolt out !! 2 out of 3 are done ...

Well I only managed to get 2 of the 3 bolts out , found a guy who will come out to the house and he has all these small grinders etc and will drill out this one bolt from the cylinder head and sais if he cant save the thread he will put in a helicoil .this guy was referred to me from the engine rebuilder in the neiberhood .
All for the low low price of $200
