    Too much "bling" for a GS?

    I may hit it with a Scotchbrite pad...Can't decide.

        I'm not one for a lot of aftermarket bling, but I like any stock parts to look as best as they can. Anyhow, these look SWEET! I wouldn't bring a scotch brite pad anywhere near these gems! Nope. Mother's Aluminum Polish and some Nevr-Dull is all that should go on these puppies.

              2. What are those other gadgets? I recognize the fork legs... whats the black thing and the other shiny thing on the back of the legs?

                  I am guessing a fender brace and the lower is the brake caliper.

                  Very nice!!!! I did some polishing on my legs and calipers but I don't think I did anywhere as well as you have...

                    Too much? No way!!!

                    Shine it up.

                    Did you use a buffing wheel on that?

                    The only time its too much is when it gets loaded up with aftermarket skull and cross crap. Keep it stock and you're ok.

                          Personally, I don't like shiny. One of the first things I did with my bike was take a scotchbrite pad to the exhaust to knock the shine off it. Did it all in one direction and it looks just like brushed stainless now.

                              I converted my bench grinder. Each fork leg took about an hour and a half. Caliper took about an hour.
