I thought about using Zebra or Brady label printers as they have clear label material available. Got few hundred of those printers at my work. Although I would've have to buy a roll with 5000 labels and it costs more than the NOS part I got

We were talking about this issue in the appearance section some time ago. We had suggested to Rudy that maybe his buddy could produce a peel and stick sticker that would fit accordingly to the face of the dash. This however would only work for the flat face such as my 750 has. It would be a great seller i would think if someone had the ability to make them ..I know i would buy a few for sure if such a thing came into being.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I'll try to take pictures of the part/lettering with measures if it is any use to anyone. This bezel was used only in 76-78 though but the lettering seems to be the same on later models up to certain year.
Also I'll have to think of a way to protect the letterings on the new one, probably some seethrough uv-resistant film....

Seems the only thing missing is the edge stripe (like in this one: http://www.ronh.org/images/hr/suz750e_78_6a.jpg ). Very good find nevertheless...

Yes, but the edge is raised, so it is easy enough to redo with a small bruch and some model paint.
