Hi,
I don't know. That "L" on the side cover is a fancy cursive script with a big curly-q that looks like it could be a lower case "g" but I don't think it was meant that way. It looks like just a fancy "L" to me. But it doesn't hurt anything to think "gL" when you see it.

I think I got the 650L part of the cover in the tool box somewhere. I took the badges off my tank and sidecovers when I got the bike.
If you have the covers and just need the badges let me know.
