Flat black would look better than that sissy assed color.

          LOL, kidding..
          Looks good.

Thanks for the kudos on the new paint, but my biddy Denny deserves all the credit. Someday i wil learn to paint that good. Thing almost looks like 3 d paint! He put 5 coats of clear on over the decals. The paint was scanned from the original paint and i kept it all original just like the pics Dale posted when i first got it. I still need a few small deatils to add the crowning jewels though.. As you GS VULTURES ( said with the gretaest love and admirration ) Myself included probably have noticed the chrome strip is missing as well as the 2 metal tabs. I also got part number for the gold side cover and tank emblems but havent ordered them yet. Other than that she is all done and back together.. In a few weeks i will post the official restore thread and feature many many shots of the frame, side cover polishing job, fork tube and lowers repolished, my repainting of the switches and reletting job..Blah Blah Blah. Post script::: Dale has the exact scans and mixing ratios for that paint if anyone wishes to use it. I cant say 100% for sure but i say it is the deep burgundy metallic..And heres the best part. I got the decal kit from reproduction decals and he only charged me 160.00 to fill and fix all the little dents and paint them..I gave him a good tip because i really felt that he was letting me take advantage of our friendship and was lowball pricing it for me. I dont ask for freebies and i think he deserved way more to be honest.
