      Well done! Pin striping is so nice and straight and even. I could never get it that even.

          I take it that the gray ring around the filler neck is the protective layer of Liquid Steel (or whatever it is) that you use to prevent fuel damage?

                  Yes, you're correct Big T. I use Cold Weld. JB Weld would also work. They both dry quickly and are impervious to gas fumes.

                    Fantastic job! You finally have a great canvas to showcase your fine work. While I'm sure the results on the 1000S bikes were of the same high quality, nothing reflects like show-quality black paint. I love the stock burgundy colour on my bike, but jet black would be the first optional scheme of choice. Now, you have me thinking of sending you a whole other set of bodywork.....

                      Larry..as the wise sage that i am, i feel it is my resposibility to impart onto you a vestage of information that will undoubtedly keep your cranium from anti gravitating to Mars. Although the saying goes " a picture speaks a thousand word"..such is not an actuality. However, people express the feelings that said pictures impose upon them. I think what most are trying to say is basically this.. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!! THAT IS SOME SERIOUSLY AMAZING CHIT!!!!!!!

                              Larry can you tell me a bit more about the Cold Weld?
                              Is it a thin layer of the Bonding Compound or is there an actual paint?
                              Obviously it stands up to gas, so is the purpose just to protect the bare metal throat?
