    Tank Leak Mystery

While finishing my tank, I noticed some weird bulging in the paint on the knee dents. The tank is full of vinegar for de rusting.

Worried that these were tiny leaks sepping into the bondo and pushing up the paint, I stripped it back to bare metal and sprayed foot powder to hunt leaks. Nothing showed.

What else might push a reverse dimples in the paint? If there is a micro leak, would a POR liner help ?

Are you allowing the tank to vent while the acid is cooking inside the tank. Pressure build up inside will cause the tank to pooch out if it's not vented (yes, I know from experience).

If you suspect some type of micro-leak, Caswell Coating would probably do a good job for coating the tank. It's really thick.
