    Painted the gas tank!

    Tank was just plain black before and it was time for a change. So i broke out the rattle cans. Spent $30 on paint at the local auto parts store and this is how it turned out! Im ver happy

    Where's the rest of the tank?

    Sure hope you never lose anything down that gap between the tank and seat that you might need.

        Looks cool.
        Is your paint gas-resistant ? What brand?
        mine's NOT gas resistant.... Dulpicolor... but it looks nice..
        2 part urethane in a spray can is next step...

          Tanks on here look really good, how did you do the lettering on the tank?

            That tank looks kinda weird on there, but I'm digging that external fuel gauge.

              Interesting seat/handlebar combination. Paint looks good but don't get any gas on it!

              Will be doing mine soon as well. Will also finish it off with the Spraymax 2k urethane clear. Done right, they can really look nice for a rattle can.

                the seat is just there for the rest of this summer!! im gonna break the bike down over the winter and redo everthing. goin with a single seat and a new full rear fender and a little pad for a passenger seat. i hate that seat on there! but it works for now. and as for the lettering there was a sticker there and i painted over it a couple times then peeled the letters off then added one more coat over the letters. as for the paint its engine block paint and a flack clear. its holding pretty good so far. i did spill alittle bit of gas on it the other and nothing happened.
