    Wagner Power Painter?

I have one of these and it did a splendid job shooting latex paint on some shutters. What about motorcycle paint?

Those are for thick paints, like house paint.

I tried using mine years ago to spray primer on a car. I had to spend hours afterwards wetsanding it down to a paintable surface. Definitely not recommended.

If you're painting an old Rambler that power painter will do just fine. For that matter a roller or paint brush would work on one of those old Kenosha Cadillacs just as well

I had an old Mazda Protege that the paint was peeling on. I had a choice of a decent paint job or rattle canning it and buying an air compressor with the savings.
I now have an air compressor.

But yeah, you really need a good air compressor and a good quality spray gun.
